Unlike current platforms such as Uber, Postmates, and Yelp, Instahand relies on the community itself to directly fulfill tasks. Utilizing a short questionnaire, Instahand is able to intelligently match requests to ensure users do not have to stray away from their daily routine.
Formed around a credit system, Instahand has broken the barrier of paying friends and neighbors for help. As long as users request as much as they contribute, users pay nothing. For those who are a little extra helpful, users are able to withdraw their balance and make some extra cash. Instahand is currently available to the UCSB community.
